Shawn has worked as a credit consultant since 2013. Over those years he met hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners who did not know their commercial lending options. They were financing their businesses on personal credit cards and personal loans, and missing out on what business credit can do: protecting their personal credit, separating the business from the household, and qualifying the company for bigger funding on its own.
So he started showing those same clients how to establish business credit, build on it, and use it. In 2018 he launched CBM Business Solutions to do that full time for owners across the Capital Region and around the country.
Credit was only part of what those owners needed. A business also needs a website that works, follow-up that does not depend on memory, and a steady presence online. Today CBM covers all of it, from the day the business is formed to the day it is ready for bigger funding.
